The Cobh Peoples Regatta 12th – 14th August 2011

Cork Harbour is the second biggest natural harbour in the world and a perfect location for the oldest regatta in Ireland – the Cobh Peoples Regatta!

Every August the harbour becomes the focal point for Cobh’s regatta, where small local sailing and rowing craft gather for races and not to say the least some craic agus ceol.
During the 3 day festival you'll find live music in the island's many pubs and clubs and maybe spot the odd fire-eater.

August Three tun filled days of free entertainment for all the family!

A huge array of fun events, sailing and rowing races, dancing, food & craft stalls and live music.

Friday features the Festival Queens, races, busking, live music & dancing.

Saturday is Kiddies day with free family fun day, fancy dress and mini queens.

Sunday will see a tug of war, ’crawler race, crab fishing, parades, presentations, dancing and more - all culminating in a magnificent fireworks display.
